These Terms and Conditions constitute a legal agreement between you and Dental Pods Academy, and they govern your use of our services. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
- Definitions
o “Dental Pods Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Dental Pods Academy.
o “You,” “your,” “candidate,” “client,” or “trainee” refers to the individual enrolled in the Dental Pods Academy training course.
o “Course” refers to the training program prepared by Dental Pods Academy, including all associated materials, videos, and online library resources.
o “Website” or “site” refers to the Dental Pods Academy website (www.dentalpodsacademy.co.uk). - Statement of Truth By completing the application form, you certify that:
o You are currently employed or intending to be employed as a trainee dental nurse.
o You are not listed on the Criminal Records Register.
o You will diligently undertake the Dental Pods Academy course and complete all required coursework and tests to the best of your ability.
o You possess satisfactory literate and numerate skills to successfully complete the National Diploma in Dental Nursing.
o You have the full knowledge, consent, and support of your employer or intended employer.
o You will abide by all General Dental Council (GDC) rules, regulations, and guidelines.
o You have read and will follow the GDC guidance on “Student Fitness to Practise.”
o You have access to the internet and broadband to undertake the course. Please note that falsifying any of the above statements may result in expulsion from the course and forfeiture of fees. - Course Commencement and Duration Your Dental Pods Academy course will commence on the date you are enrolled, with immediate access to the course materials. We kindly request that your employer confirms their support within 30 days of your enrolment or from the date they receive notification of your enrolment. The course is expected to last up to 2 years from commencement or until successful completion of the NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing, whichever comes first.

- License and Intellectual Property Dental Pods Academy grants you a single, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the course materials and website content for your personal use. All intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks, remain the property of Dental Pods Academy or its licensors. You agree not to copy, distribute, transmit, modify, or publicly display any part of the website or course materials without prior written permission from Dental Pods Academy, in accordance with applicable copyright laws.
- Fees, Renewals, and Refund Policy Course fees are published on our website and are subject to change. However, once you have commenced the course, your fee will remain fixed for the duration of your enrolment. Fees do not include NEBDN exam fees or expenses related to physical mock examinations. Refunds are available within the initial 30-day enrolment period, less a £50 administration fee. After this period, and upon acceptance of your application and receipt of employer undertakings, no refunds will be issued. NEBDN exam fees are administered by Dental Pods Academy and are additional to the course fees. Exam fees, deferral fees, and resit fees are set by NEBDN and are subject to change.
- Appeals Policy If your application to join the course is refused, you may appeal in writing within 30 days, endorsed by your employer. Dental Pods Academy will seek guidance from NEBDN and report back to you within 14 days of the end of communication with NEBDN. The resulting decision will be considered final unless material changes in circumstances come to light.
- Employer Undertakings As a condition of acceptance, your employer must fully support your application, respond to correspondence within the 30-day trial period, ensure your competence in writing and numeracy, provide training and support for completing your Records of Experience, and assist in achieving positive learning outcomes in the clinical domain. If you purchase a license without employer support, you will not have access to Records of Experience until such support is received and Dental Pods Academy has registered you with NEBDN.
- Maintenance and Repairs From time to time, we may need to perform maintenance, repairs, or improvements on our website or systems. We will strive to minimize any disruption to your learning experience.
- Course Format, Scheduling, and Materials Dental Pods Academy reserves the right to change or alter aspects of the course without notice, usually in response to syllabus changes or to benefit the majority of our students. We are committed to maintaining and monitoring the quality of our training materials and ensuring they are appropriate for the course.
- Privacy Policy and Data Protection We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions, outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data. Please note that we may disclose details of your enrolment and study progress to your current or prospective employer.
- Limited Warranties and Liability Dental Pods Academy website and course materials are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the site or materials will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. In no event shall Dental Pods Academy be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the site or course materials.
- Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Written exam deferral fee £150 (if deferred within 5 weeks of planned exam)
Reinstatement of withdrawn written exam student £510
OSCE resit fee £300
